Family Medicine is the specialty of medicine which deals with the medical care of children, adults, and seniors. It spans the breadth of medical knowledge encompassing pediatrics, internal medicine, geriatrics, psychiatry, minor surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, sports medicine, and nutrition. Dr. Labrador consider himself to be specialist to you.
As a Board Certified Physician, Dr. Labrador evaluates and treats patients for a multitude of problems, including: diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, abdominal problems, dizziness, arthritis, depression, anxiety, headaches, strokes, obesity, weight loss, cardiac problems, sexual dysfunction and female health, just to name a few.
Credentials & Education
Dr. Labrador is Board Certified in Family Practice. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2008. He graduated from Meharry Medical College, in Nashville, TN with the degree of Medical Doctor in May 19th of 2001. He received his bachelors with highest honors at the University of Florida in 1997 in Gainesville, Florida.
Dr. Labrador has admitting privileges to Palms of Pasadena Hospital, Edward White Hospital, St. Pete Gral Hospital, Northside Hospital and Bayfront Medical Center.
Currently he is a Member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, and the Pinellas County Medical Society.
Dr. Labrador is married and has 2 beautiful children.
